EASTLEIGH have broken their transfer record to sign Conference-winning central defender Bondz N’Gala from Barnet.
The 27-year-old, who stands at 6ft 2ins, made 44 appearances as the Bees won the Conference title in 2014-15.
He helped Barnet to a 15th-place finish in their first season back in League Two before signing a new one-year deal in the summer.
N’Gala has made 14 appearances for Martin Allen’s side this term but will now return to Non-League with Eastleigh after the Spitfires had a club record bid accepted.
The former West Ham, Plymouth, Yeovil, Stevenage and Portsmouth defender could make his debut on Tuesday night in the National League fixture against Aldershot Town.
N’Gala has become Ronnie Moore’s second new addition this week following the loan signing of experienced goalkeeper Scott Brown from Wycombe Wanderers.
“Scott is an experienced keeper with a lot of Football League experience,” Spitfires boss Moore told BBC Sport.
