EASTLEIGH have re-signed former striker Chris Zebroski while keeper Ross Flitney has also returned to the club.
Zebroski, 30, had a brief spell with the Spitfires at the end of the 2012-13 season but soon moved back into the Football League with Newport County.
The former Plymouth, Torquay, Wycombe, Bristol Rovers and Cheltenham forward scored 19 times in two League Two campaigns for Newport before his spell in Wales was brought to an abrupt end in April 2015.
Zebroski was jailed for four years and four months after admitting four charges of robbery, attempted robbery and assault relating to two incidents.
He is now back in football and will be hoping to rediscover the form from his last Eastleigh spell in which he scored six times in six games.
Spitfires boss Richard Hill has also strengthened on and off the pitch with the addition of Flitney, who was a fans’ favourite during his first spell at the Silverlake Stadium.
The 33-year-old joined from Gillingham in 2012 and made over 190 appearances for Eastleigh, helping the club to promotion from the Conference South.
He left for Whitehawk last season before signing for Bromley and returns to Eastleigh in a joint role which will see him compete for the number one shirt as well as be part of Hill’s backroom staff as goalkeeping coach.
