SIMON AINGE has left Guiseley to join Luton Town on a permanent basis following a loan stint at Kenilworth Road.
The 24-year-old defender, who had been with Guiseley since 2010, linked up with the Hatters in September and has since featured 12 times for the Conference Premier side.
Luton have now paid an undisclosed fee to secure his services permanently and Guiseley secretary Adie Towers feels it will prove to be a good move for all involved.
Towers told the Lions’ website: “We get a good fee for Simon, Luton get a quality player and Simon gets the chance to play full-time, at a higher level.”
