Ebbsfleet United Appeal To Fans For Funding

have appealed for donations from their fans to ease financial pressures at Stonebridge Road.

Recent bad weather has seen the Fleet’s home fixtures against and postponed, resulting in a loss of revenue that has left the club in a very vulnerable position.

The Conference Premier outfit have urged supporters to pledge a minimum of £30 so they do not need to draw on funds for February to see them through this month.

A statement posted on the club’s official website said: “The unfortunate timing of the weather and home fixtures being cancelled has really left the club strapped for cash and the coffers are bare!

“The club is asking EVERY MyFootballClub member, EVERY Fleet Trust Member and EVERY supporter near and far to donate a minimum amount of £30 or as much as you can afford to save the club.

“Please do not ignore this plea, it is very real and has been decided as a last resort today here at the club.”

Despite the appeal, the club insist all wage payments to members of staff are up-to-date and that they have no outstanding bills.
