GATESHEAD have signed York City striker Ben Everson on loan for a month.
The 25-year-old, a former Futsal player with Middlesbrough, joined York in January following spells playing in America and Iceland.
He has since featured twice for the Minstermen but has now linked up with their North East neighbours the Heed.
Everson will be hoping he can help fire Gateshead out of the Blue Square Bet Premier relegation zone – they currently lie third from bottom of the division – starting with a win at Macclesfield on Saturday.
