HEREFORD UNITED have released midfielder James McQuilkin.
The 24-year-old, who has been with the Bulls since the summer of 2009, was out of contract at the end of this season and the club say they will be honoring the remainder of his deal.
Speaking about the former West Brom youth team player, Bulls boss Martin Foyle said: “After a meeting last night with the chairman, we feel that we have to look to the future and we have decided to part company with James.”
McQuilkin leaves Edgar Street having made 76 appearances, 10 of which have come this term.
