LUTON TOWN’S Nigerian midfielder Solomon Taiwo has signed a new one-year deal with the Hatters.
Taiwo arrived at Kenilworth Road on a short-term contract in March and went on to make nine appearances for John Still‘s men.
And Still, who managed the 29-year-old at Dagenham & Redbridge between 2007 and 2009, was suitably impressed to offer him a longer-term deal with the club.
The ex-Cardiff man has now put pen-to-paper on that deal and Still is optimist Taiwo will make a big contribution in 2013/14.
Speaking to the official Luton Town website, Taiwo said: “We’ll have a happy and fit Solomon Taiwo next season and given what he’s already shown us in performances last season I think there is a lot more to come from him.”
