AARRAN RACINE has signed a permanent two-year deal with Forest Green Rovers after excelling in their opening eight Conference Premier fixtures.
The 20-year-old centre-back joined Rovers on a three-month contract in the summer and went on to net on his senior debut in a 2-1 win over AFC Telford United.
He has played every minute of every subsequent fixture and Rovers boss David Hockaday has had no hesitation in signing the youngster up on a longer-term basis.
Speaking tot he club’s website, Hockaday said: “It was a no brainer, as anyone who has seen him play since arriving in August will appreciate.
“We brought Aarran in after having four defenders succumb to injury in the space of couple of weeks during the pre-season and he has been mightily impressive.”
