MIDFIELDER Marcus Kelly has secured a one-year deal with Forest Green Rovers after an impressive trial spell at the New Lawn.
The former Rushden & Diamonds, Kettering Town and Tamworth man linked up with Rovers three weeks ago and has since featured in three friendlies for David Hockaday’s side.
And his performances in those fixtures have now seen him bag a permanent contract.
Speaking about his move to Rovers, the 27-year-old said: “I’ve been really impressed with the way the club is run, the facilities, the training, nutrition.
“It’s great to sign for a club with a stable squad that will be pushing for promotion. There is lots of competition for places, hopefully I can contribute.”
