FORMER Manchester City defender Nick Fenton has joined Conference Premier club Alfreton Town.
Fenton came through the youth system at City and went on to make 15 first-team appearances for them before moving to Notts County in 2000.
He was a regular while at Meadow Lane and featured over 140 times in four seasons for the Nottinghamshire outfit.
The 33-year-old has since had spells with Doncaster, Grimsby, Rotherham and Morecambe, the latter of whom he played 44 times for last term.
