MIDFIELDER pair Scott Kay and Danny Whitaker have signed for Skrill Premier club Macclesfield Town.
Kay returns to Moss Rose having spent the 2011/12 season there, making 15 appearances in League Two.
He spent last term as part of the Huddersfield Town development squad but finished the campaign on loan at Southport.
Whitaker rejoins the Silkmen some seven years after leaving them.
The 32-year-old initially joined the club from local Cheshire football and went on to make over 200 appearances before leaving in 2006.
Since his departure he has had spells with Port Vale, Oldham and Chesterfield, all of whom he played over 80 times for.
He has impressed during Macc’s pre-season schedule and has now signed on for the Conference Premier campaign.
