BARNET midfielder Curtis Weston will spend a number of weeks on the sidelines after suffering severe lacerations to his shin and calf.
The 26-year-old was on the wrong end of a terrible challenge from Wrexham‘s Johnny Hunt during Sunday’s ill-tempered 1-1 draw at the Hive.
Hunt was sent off for the tackle and it was feared that Weston had broken his leg.
However, a scan on Tuesday revealed no break, meaning the former Gillingham man will not be out of action as long as feared.
