STEVE BURR has opted to remain in charge of Kidderminster Harriers, despite positive talks with their Skrill Premier rivals Forest Green Rovers.
Rovers, who are seeking a replacement for David Hockaday, were granted permission to speak to Burr last Friday.
The Kiddy boss met New Lawn officials but has now confirmed that he is committed to the cause at Aggborough.
Speaking about the England C‘s assistant manager’s decision to stay in Worcestershire, Harriers chairman Mark Serrell said: “I have spoken with Steve this morning and he has made his position very clear – understandably we are all delighted with that.
“Now our sole focus is on allowing Steve, Gary and the rest of the camp to continue with preparations for this weekend’s FA Cup game with Sutton United.”
