CONNOR ESSAM has joined Dartford on loan from League One club Crawley Town.
The 21-year-old centre-back, who has started just once for the Red Devils this term, will spend a month at Princes Park.
Meanwhile, Darts boss Tony Burman has signed Portsmouth goalkeeper Phil Smith, also on a month’s loan.
Subject to the completion of the relevant paperwork, both will feature in the Dartford squad that takes on Gateshead tomorrow.
