WOKING have signed Mansfield Town midfielder Keiran Murtagh on a one-month loan.
Murtagh is in need of games having only featured four times for the Stags since joining them from Macclesfield Town in the summer.
The 25-year-old is no stranger to Woking having had two spells on loan there while on the books of Wycombe Wanderers and Cambridge United.
Mansfield boss Paul Cox hopes Cards manager Garry Hill can help the midfielder rediscover the form that saw him score five times in 12 games while at Kingfield in 2011.
Speaking to the club’s website, Murtagh said: “He will be working with Hilly at Woking, who if I’m being honest, Keiran had his best period as a footballer under.
“Hilly knows how to motivate him and put a smile back on his face, but Keiran knows that there is a massive part for him still to play at this club.”
